On 3 July at 20:00 CET, the ASPIS cluster will be hosting a live-streaming event on the topic of the LGBTQIA+ community in science.
ASPIS cluster (ONTOX, PrecisionTox and RISK-HUNT3R) supports diversity and inclusiveness and feels the urge to talk about this topic in the context of the science community. Therefore, ASPIS is organising a dedicated online event with the support of the TOXstreams streaming channel by ALTERTOX (PrecisionTox and ONTOX partner).
Proud guests of this show will be the members of the ONTOX consortium:
- Prof. Mathieu Vinken (ONTOX coordinator, Vrije Universiteit Brussels)
- Marie Corradi (Hogeschool Utrecht)
- Simón Perera del Rosario (ProtoQSAR)
During the event, the discussion will touch upon the main issues behind the lack of inclusion in science for members of the LGBTQIA+ community, what they mean for the whole field and how we can move forward.
