What does it mean to be part of a community that helped you grow – as a scientist and as a person? As the ASPIS Academy reaches its final stop, its Core Team reflects on a journey of discovery and connection, sharing the lessons, memories, and advice they hope will inspire the next generation to go further.
The ASPIS Academy was more than a network, it became a community where early-stage researchers could learn, connect, share ideas, and grow together. As the ASPIS projects come to an end, so does the ASPIS Academy in its current form. Before closing this chapter, the members of the ASPIS Academy Core Team would like to leave a few words of advice for the next generation of early-stage researchers.
These are their final messages, a heartfelt reflection on the people, experiences, and opportunities that shaped the ASPIS Academy, and a reminder to carry its spirit of collaboration and curiosity forward.

Carrying the Spirit Forward
As the projects of the ASPIS cluster come to an end, the ASPIS Academy is also closing the chapter of its journey, which they documented in The Blueprint Article. What it created, however, goes far beyond the activities and events that brought the ASPIS Academy community together. The connections, friendships, knowledge, and spirit of collaboration will stay with the people who were part of this community. The ASPIS Academy Core Team hopes that this spirit will carry forward through continued support for one another and by creating welcoming spaces for the next generation of researchers. Because while one community may come to an end, new ones can be created with the same aims: education, support, and continuous growth.
