ASPIS presents its fourth Annual report.
In the fourth year, PrecisionTox expanded critical multi-omics datasets and worked to break down regulatory policy barriers. Meanwhile, ONTOX advanced predictive models for liver, kidney, and developmental toxicity, while RISK-HUNT3R finalized key case studies for real-world regulatory use. To maximize long-term impact, the cluster also reorganized into three specialized Task Forces focused on sustainability, impact, and assessment frameworks. These scientific breakthroughs directly support Europe’s roadmap to phase out animal testing in alignment with the European Citizens’ Initiative. Ultimately, the report outlines a unified “One Health” vision to better protect humans, animals, and ecosystems through faster, more accurate, and animal-free safety testing.

Annual report 2024
ASPIS presents its third Annual report. Last year ASPIS expanded its collaborative efforts among its working groups with a focus on the continued development of the ASPIS-initiated Safety Profiling Algorithm (ASPA). Additionally, dissemination of ASPA results, as well as the ASPIS New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) definition were made at several international and national conferences. The ASPIS Academy, our flagship training and networking group for early-stage researchers, expanded its education, career development, and communication and dissemination activities to an international level. ASPIS continues to be a leader in Next Generation Risk Assessment, development and acceptances of NAMs, and the advancement of AI-driven analyses for chemical toxicity.

Annual report 2023
ASPIS presents its second Annual report. Last year was focused on the ASPIS consensus working understanding of New Approach Methodologies (NAMs), a strategy towards AI-based probabilistic risk assessment, the introduction of the ASPIS Safety Profiling Algorithm (ASPA) to key stakeholders for its co-development, the publishable criteria and protocols for chemical selection for research towards NAMs, and much more.
